With this visual communication made for Design Office, we wanted to convey a liveable urban story about Sydney’s city center.
Brief from architcts: 'Refurbishment of two neighbouring commercial buildings in Sydney's Surry Hills to provide new commercial tenancies, and a new facade screen'.
EXTERIOR. Externally, the primary facades are re-imagined to increase daylight and add dynamic new screens and glazing to the tree-lined streets.
INTERIOR. The design responses strip back the existing internal fabric to reveal and restore concrete soffits, brick walls and timber beams.
A new rooftop terrace will provide further amenities for the future commercial tenants providing views out across the inner city skyline.
